Lamont Peterson (born January 24, 1984) is an American professional boxer. He is a two-weight world champion, having held the WBA (Regular) welterweight title since February 2017. Previously he won the WBA (Super) and IBF light welterweight titles in 2011. He previously held the WBO interim light welterweight title in 2009.
