Preston Hartzog (born August 9, 1976, died June 21, 2006) While serving in the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division, he won a silver medal at the Military World Games in Croatia, two golds and a silver in the U.S. Armed Forces Championships and was named 1997-1998 All-Army Champion Super Heavyweight and Four Corners USA Regional Boxing Champion. Hartzog was also awarded the Army Achievement and Army Commendation medals. Hartzog was member of the World Class Athlete Program (WCAP) on Fort Carson in 1999. As explained on their website, WCAP is not a developmental program; it targets athletes who have achieved world class status in their sport. Hartzog had 15 professional boxing wins against one loss and one draw.His trainer for many of his professional fights was Jesse Reid. Reid trained many world champions including Roger Mayweather, Johnny Tapia and Bruce Curry.

Correira holds notable wins over Jason Lambert, Eric "Butterbean" Esch, Joe Riggs, Tank Abbott, Justin Eilers, and Travis Wiuff. Hartzog lost to Matthew O'Neil by a TKO in a USA boxing sanctioned bout in Colorado Springs,Colorado in 1999. It was the only time Hartzog was stopped in the course of the action in his fighting career. Hartzog was later Vitali Klitschko's primary sparring partner for Vitali Klitschko for the Vitali Klitschko vs. Lennox Lewis match that held on June 21, 2003 at The Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. It was contested for the WBC heavyweight world title.
